We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas this year. Grady got completely spoiled by Santa, both sets of grandparents, and his aunts and uncles! We went to Christmas Eve 5 PM service at St. Matthew's. I am used to Catholic Christmas Eve masses and we showed up a half hour before the service started. In fact, I thought we were going to be late because we only gave ourselves that little amount of time. Boy was I wrong! There were only about a handful of people inside
and we had our pick of the pews to sit at. The church did fill up about ten minutes before the service started.

It was so nice to wake up at our house on Christmas morning and open gifts with Grady. Celebrating Christmas morning at home was the start of a new tradition for us as we normally go over to one of our parents house the night before. Matt made us breakfast and we played with some of Grady's new toys.

| Well ok, maybe Grady was our favorite present this year! |

Then it was off to see Grams, Pop Pop, and Uncle Justin to get more presents and have Christmas dinner. Grady played with his grandparents and Uncle Justin got him a big stuffed Clifford dog and Grady loves to smile at it.

The Christmas festivities continued the next day when we went over to see Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Michelle, and Aunt Megan. Every year our family draws names for a Secret Stocking Santa Exchange. The rule is that you spend $25 to $30 worth of stocking goodies for your "buddy". Of course, dad always spends way more than the targeted amount and you always hope that he gets your name. This year Ryan was the lucky one!
