Merry Christmas Eve, this little boy is 4 months old today! Mommy and Daddy took Grady to his doctor for his 4 month physical yesterday. Our boy is long and lean - 25 1/2 inches tall and only 12 lbs 8 oz! Grady actually fell of his growth curve, so our doctor recommends that we start giving him rice cereal with formula to give him some more calories. I'm not quite sure if our doctor recommended that Grady start rice cereal now because he is slightly underweight, but we will be sure to take lots of pictures the first time he tries it.
At 4 months old, Grady loves to smile and laugh at people. It's very easy for us to hand him off to friends, relatives, or his daycare providers as his separation anxiety has yet to kick in. Grady has only rolled over from belly to back a couple times and we can't wait for him to learn how to roll over from back to belly. He will kick his legs and roll to one side, but can't quite manage to roll all the way over. He really seems to be fascinated with watching us eat. We will be eating dinner and all the sudden see little blue eyes staring up at us. Grady loves to bring toys or really anything to his mouth now. He loves his dog Buddy. Every time he sees Buddy he breaks into a huge grin. He just discovered his feet and we're sure they will provide him with lots of entertainment in the next few weeks.
