Halloween

Nothing is more fun for first-time parents than celebrating Halloween with your little one who is old enough to enjoy it!  The weekend before Halloween Grady helped Daddy carve our pumpkin.

On Halloween daycare held their annual parade and classroom party. Mommy and Daddy left work early so they could attend.  Grady refused to sit at the little kids table during the party and even cried when Mommy put him in his chair.  He would rather run around and eat snacks from Daddy's plate!

 

Halloween is an extra special day in our family because it is also Grandpa's birthday.  We invited everyone over to have dinner, birthday cake, and go trick-or-treating with us.

Just like Grady's daycare, our neighborhood also does an annual Halloween parade. 

 

 

 

 

Then it was time for some good old-fashioned trick-or-treating!  Ok, with a one year-old we only went to two houses!  Next year maybe we will go to three!
