Happy First Birthday!

Happy Birthday Grady! On Grady’s birthday he went to daycare and Mommy brought cupcakes in for all the little kids to have after nap time. His daycare teachers made Grady a birthday crown, took lots of pictures of him for Mommy and Daddy, and, of course, everyone sang “happy birthday” to him.  Mommy and Daddy let Grady open a small present from us on his actual birthday.

Yay!  My very own remote control!

The next day we had his birthday party at our house for family and friends. Grady, as always, enjoyed being the center of attention and got so many presents. He didn’t quite know what to make of his birthday cake at first and stared at it for a little while. Finally, he got the idea and LOVED eating all the blue icing!
